the 4th World Sustainable Energy Forum welcomed Mr. Illac Diaz, the founder of “A Liter of Light” – MyShelter Foundation, as a TED Fellow Speaker at our conference. A Liter of Light began in the Philippines with one bottle light. Eventually, the movement grew to brighten up 28,000 homes and the lives of 70,000 people in Metro Manila alone.
Now A Liter of Light is present in India, Indonesia, and even as far away as Switzerland.

Mrs. Judit Hildegard Hajos (CEU Business School) opened the 3rd World Sustainable Energy Forum with a welcome note. Ing. Roman Weigl (Vice-Chairman, Austrian Association of Consulting Engineers) and Mr. Michele Orzan (President of EuCham, European Chamber) continued with introductory speeches before Dipl.Ing. Goekhan Yildirim (Founder of WSE Initiative) continued the successful Forum in Hofburg Vienna.
We welcomed Massachusetts Senator Marc R. Pacheco who referred to the City of Boston’s Sustainable Energy & Environment Solutions and presented a video message from Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. Within two panels international experts and professionals discussed Sustainable Energy Solutions (Mobility & Environment, Energy & People). We were honored that Mr. Adnan Polat (CEO Polat Wind Energy) participated in our Forum and showed a documentation about future global resources. WSEF 2013 welcomed as well several representatives of universities, companies and municipalities from the international energy and environmental sectors.

The 3rd World Sustainable Energy Forum was introduced to the Austrian press by Dipl.Ing. Goekhan Yildirim, the Founder of WSE Initiative, and Em. O. Univ. Prof. DI Dr. techn. The Forum will welcome several experts and representatives of universities and companies from the international energy and environmental sectors.
