EUREKA Innovation Week 2016

More than 900 participants from 33 countries met up in Stockholm during the EUREKA Innovation Week 2016 hosted by the Swedish EUREKA Chairmanship and the EUREKA Secretariat. The aim of the conference was to give participants the opportunity to meet, share ideas and discuss smart cities, and to showcase the opportunities that EUREKA offers for international collaboration and innovation.

In accordance with the President of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat, the International Scientific Conference “Science, technology and innovative technologies in the prosperous epoch of the powerful state” was held at the Academy of Sciences and has invited the World Sustainable Energy Institute to participate in the conference with international experts from 30 different countries.
MSc. Gökhan Yildirim has led the panel with the topic “Integrated Sustainable City Solutions”.

Singapore (26) is the highest-ranking Asian city, whereas Dubai (74) ranks first across the Middle East and Africa. Integrative Sustainable City Solutions
Within two days of our Forum, Conference & B2B Meetings international experts discussed Integrative Sustainable City Solutions in Smartcity Vienna.
We were honored to welcome Ambassador Emine Birnur Fertekligil, Permanent Mission of Turkey for United Nations Office in Vienna, who opened our Conference. The 4th WSEF welcomed as well Mr. Kursad Tuzmen, former Minister of Foreign Trade and Customs of Turkey, who referred to Sustainable Trade Development.
We were pleased to introduce Mr. Illac Diaz, the founder of A Liter of Light – MyShelter Foundation as TED Speaker at our Conference, who is taking sustainable building solutions to low-cost infrastructures. We welcomed as well several representatives of universities, authorities and companies from the international energy and environmental sectors.
